Track and record affiliate payouts

BLOOP shows what you owe each affiliate from approved sales and records the payment once you have sent it. BLOOP never moves money itself.

What it is

Affiliate payouts, explained

Payouts run against approved sales only. The Pending view shows each affiliate's outstanding balance, their chosen payment method and how many sales make it up. After you pay them outside BLOOP, you record the payout, the included sales move from approved to paid, and the balance drops.

Because payouts are recorded and not processed, you set the schedule and the minimum balance yourself. You choose which payment methods affiliates can use and which details they must provide. A recorded payout can be reverted if you made a mistake.

For your customers

How it works on your store

  1. 01

    A sale is approved

Only approved sales count toward the payable balance.

  2. 02

    The affiliate adds payment details

They pick one of your enabled payment methods in their portal and fill in its fields.

  3. 03

    You select sales to pay

In Affiliate, Payouts, Pending, open the affiliate and tick the sales to include. The total updates as you select.

  4. 04

    You pay outside BLOOP

Copy the payment details from the confirmation and make the transfer in your bank, PayPal or other tool.

  5. 05

    You mark it as paid

BLOOP creates a payout record, marks the sales paid and sends the affiliate a new commission payout email.

For you

Set it up in BLOOP

Steps follow the BLOOP user guide. Most stores finish setup in about 30 minutes.

  1. 01. Choose payment methods

In Affiliate, Settings, Payment, enable the methods you will use. BLOOP ships with Bank transfer, Paypal, Debit cash and Google pay, and you can edit fields or add your own.

  2. 02. Set your own schedule and threshold

BLOOP does not hold a payout schedule or minimum, so pick a cadence after your return window and a minimum balance, and keep to both.

  3. 03. Approve sales first

Review the Sales tab and approve sales past your return window. Payouts only cover approved sales.

  4. 04. Process a payout

Open the affiliate under Pending, tick the sales, press Process to pay, send the money, then confirm and Mark as paid.

  5. 05. Revert if needed

Revert payment undoes a record made in error. It does not move any money.

Options you control

Make it fit your store

Pending and Paid views

Pending is money you owe. Paid is the record of settled payouts, with amount, method and notes.

Notes and messages

Add a private note, and a message that appears in the affiliate's portal Payouts table.

Double-pay protection

Sales that are already paid cannot be included in another payout.

Sales export

Payouts are not exportable, but sales are, and carry each sale's paid status for reconciliation.

FAQ

Affiliate payouts: common questions

Does BLOOP pay my affiliates?

No. BLOOP records payouts and you make the transfer yourself. The mark-as-paid step asks you to confirm that you paid outside the app.

What if an affiliate has no payment method?

Process to pay is disabled until they add one in their portal. Check the Pending view for the tooltip and nudge them.

Can I pay affiliates in bulk?

Payouts are recorded per affiliate by selecting that affiliate's approved sales. BLOOP does not describe a bulk payment run.

Example: how does a payout look?

Example: an affiliate has four approved sales with commissions of $12, $9, $15 and $6, so the balance is $42. If your minimum is $25, the payout goes ahead and you record $42 after sending it.
