Cookies in stores that use BLOOP
When a shopper clicks a referral or affiliate link in a Shopify store that uses BLOOP, the app stores the referral or affiliate identifier in the shopper's browser. This lets the store credit the right person if the shopper places an order within the attribution window. For affiliate campaigns, the default window is 30 days, and each merchant can change it.
Merchants who use BLOOP decide how their programs work and are responsible for describing these cookies in their own store's privacy and cookie notices.
How to control cookies
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking all cookies can affect how some sites work.
- To stop Google Analytics on any site, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Blocking cookies in a store that uses BLOOP can prevent a referral or affiliate from being credited for your order.
