Analytics

Referral analytics that show where the funnel drops

BLOOP analytics run from outcomes (referrers, referrals, revenue) back through behavior (impressions, shares, store visits), so you can see which step to fix.

What it is

Referral analytics, explained

The dashboard summarizes total referrers, successful referrals and revenue from referrers and referees. It splits referral revenue into first orders and repeat orders, which tells you whether a program is buying one-off discount hunters or customers who return.

It also reports behavior and where it comes from: shares, store visits, unique store visits, welcome emails viewed, top referrers, sources of referees and sharing sources. A table of entry-point performance shows impressions, copies or shares and click-through rate for the widget, referral page, post-purchase block and customer account.

For your customers

How it works on your store

  1. 01

A customer sees an entry point

Impressions are counted per surface, as unique customers who saw it.

  2. 02

    They copy or share

Shares count every share-channel click or copy-link action, without deduplication.

  3. 03

    Friends visit and buy

Store visits and unique store visits record clicks, and successful referrals count qualifying purchases.

  4. 04

    Revenue is split

First referral revenue and subsequent referral revenue are tracked separately.

  5. 05

    Every event is logged

The activity log records joins, claims, purchases, revocations and bans, newest first.

FAQ

Referral analytics: common questions

What is the difference between shares and unique store visits?

Shares count every click or copy action with no deduplication, so one referrer copying five times adds five. Unique store visits are deduplicated per day by device and IP, so they are the honest traffic number.

Which two ratios matter most?

BLOOP's guide points to shares per impression and successful referrals per share. Example: 8,000 impressions and 400 shares is a 5% share rate, and 40 successful referrals from 400 shares is 10%.

Can I compare with industry benchmarks?

BLOOP's guide advises judging the dashboard against its own trend, since referral rates vary a lot by industry. Confirm any fix that costs money with an A/B test.

Does it cover affiliates?

This page covers referral analytics. Affiliate sales, statuses and payouts are reviewed in the Affiliate Sales and Payouts tabs.
